This policy explains what Kaplan Law Firm collects through www.financialrelief.com and the landing pages we run there, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. It does not cover how we handle a client file once you have hired us — that is governed by our engagement agreement and by the rules of professional conduct.

What you give us through our forms
The contact forms on this site ask for your first name, last name, email address, phone number, the state you live in, an approximate range for your student loan balance, and a message. The form on our SAVE plan page also asks for your address and the name of your federal loan servicer. No form here asks for a Social Security number, a date of birth, or a payment method.
We use what you send for two things: to respond to your inquiry, and to evaluate whether the firm can represent you. Submitting this form does not create an attorney-client relationship. Please do not include any confidential or sensitive information in a form, text message, or voicemail. The contact form sends information by non-encrypted email, which is not secure.
Phone calls
The phone numbers displayed on this website are call-tracking numbers provided by CallRail that forward to our office. When you call one of them, CallRail records and transcribes the call and logs the number you called from, the time and length of the call, and the advertising source that brought you to the site. If you would rather not be recorded, say so at the start of the call and we will continue without recording, or write to us instead.
What is collected automatically
Our own code stores the following in first-party cookies and in your browser’s local storage for up to 90 days, so we can connect an inquiry back to the advertisement or search that produced it:

These values are copied into hidden fields on our forms, so if you submit a form they travel with your inquiry. Our host also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and browser information.
The site also loads these third-party tags, and only these:
- Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads — analytics and conversion measurement for our Google advertising
- Meta pixel, through the PixelYourSite plugin — conversion measurement for our Facebook and Instagram advertising
- Reddit pixel and JamLoop — the same for our Reddit and streaming-TV advertising
- CallRail — swaps in the tracking phone number, sets a visitor cookie lasting about six months, and captures form submissions
- Google reCAPTCHA and Akismet — spam protection on our forms
- CookieYes — the cookie banner
These companies set their own cookies and receive information about your visit under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your information, and we do not hand the contents of your form or your call to anyone for their own advertising.
Cookies and your consent
We use CookieYes to show a cookie banner. Cookies needed to make the site work are always on. The functional, analytics, performance and advertising categories are yours to accept or reject, and your choice is stored in a cookieyes-consent cookie so we do not have to ask again. To change your choice later, clear this site’s cookies in your browser and the banner will ask again. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, or write to us and we will record your preference.
Who we share information with
We share information with the companies we use to run the site and handle inquiries: Kinsta (hosting), Microsoft 365 (our email), CallRail (call tracking, recording and form capture), Pipedrive (which holds new inquiries) and MyCase (case management). The advertising and analytics companies listed above receive the measurement data described there. We will also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
The advertising cookies this site sets expire after 90 days; the CallRail visitor cookie lasts about six months; the consent cookie lasts about a year. Form submissions, call recordings and transcripts are kept in the systems above for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep ordinary business records. If you become a client, your file is kept longer, under the firm’s file-retention practices. You can ask us to delete an inquiry at any time.
Your choices
- Accept or reject cookie categories in the banner, or block cookies in your browser.
- Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email contact@financialrelief.com.
- Ask us to stop contacting you, and we will stop.
- Turn off ad personalization in your Google, Meta and Reddit account settings, which limits what those companies do with what they collect here.
Some states give their residents specific privacy rights. We handle requests the same way for everyone: write to us at the address or email above and we will respond.
Who this site is for
This website is intended for adults in the United States. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. This page is the notice; there is no separate mailing list.
